Privacy Policy

This policy covers Hemisphere One and this website. It applies to people who buy from us, contact us, or simply browse.

When you place an order, we collect and store:

• Your name, email address, and phone number.
• The delivery address you enter at checkout.
• What you ordered, what you paid, and the shipping method chosen.
• A tracking number once the parcel is dispatched.

If you use the contact form, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write in the message.

We do not collect or store card details. Payment is handled entirely on Stripe's own hosted checkout page. Your card number is never sent to our servers and never touches our database. We are told only that a payment succeeded, the amount, and the last portion of the card for reference.

• To take payment, pack your order, and post it to the right address.
• To email you a receipt and tracking, and to reply if you contact us.
• To keep the sales and tax records the law requires us to keep.
• To handle returns, refunds, and payment disputes.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Running a shop means using a handful of services, each of which sees the part of your information it needs to do its job:

• Stripe — takes payment and collects your delivery address at checkout.
• Supabase — the database holding the product catalog and order records.
• Vercel — hosts the website and serves these pages.
• Resend — sends order and shipping emails.
• Cloudflare — provides the domain, DNS, and forwarding for email sent to us.
• USPS and our label provider — receive the delivery address printed on your parcel.

Each of these is a service provider acting on our behalf, and each publishes its own privacy policy.

This site carries no advertising or analytics trackers — no third-party pixels, no cross-site profiling, nothing that follows you elsewhere.

Your basket is kept in your own browser's local storage so it survives a refresh. It stays on your device and is only sent to us when you start a checkout. Clearing your browser data clears it.

The one cookie this site sets is a login session for our own staff fulfilment area. It is never set for customers.

Stripe sets its own cookies on its hosted checkout page, which is necessary for payment and fraud prevention, and is governed by Stripe's privacy policy.

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require — generally several years. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry.

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email support@hemisphereoneusa.com and we will respond.

Some information cannot be deleted on request — a completed order has to stay in our accounting records — but anything not required for that can be removed. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy law, and we apply these standards to everyone regardless.

Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Order data sits in a database that is not publicly readable, and the keys that can reach it are held server-side only. No system is perfect, but card data is the most sensitive part of a transaction and it never reaches us at all.

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described rather than slipped in.
